"It’s a very small quibble but you can’t park at the property. It’s not a problem as there is public parking nearby."

"Very impressive historic building. The location and the gated entrance provided good feeling of security ( both general and for car parking). The apartment is nicely furnished, with cooking and washing facilities, for a comfortable stay."

"The pillows could certainly be of better quality.(These down feather pillows do not provide any support for the head at all). Generally, it's a very old (historic) building) and some of the sanitary areas would take more effort to be kept sparkling clean. Not exactly the fault of anyone but I have been pampered with cleaner places (for the same price bracket)."

"Beautiful original features. A large , romantic , dreamy place with a generous terrace and fabulous location. Bedrooms were lovely, with doors straight to the garden and the cicadas. The manager of the property, Damien, was superb. So helpful in every way and super quick to respond to any messages. Top guy."

"The sofa had no covers on the cushions and when we asked about this, the message came back from the owner to drape it with a sheet! The toilets were completely unacceptable. I don't know if they need bleaching or replacing but at the prices charged something should have been done. The bowls were near enough black. The outside light didn't work on the terrace either. At the prices being charged, these things definitely matter."

"We loved the terrasse which ran the length of the flat and overlooked beautiful gardens, with table and chairs for dining outside, plus other chairs for sitting outside each bedroom with coffee in the morning. The apartment is furnished with an elegant mix of old and new."
